Blue Cypress essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the heart wood of the blue cypress tree from Australia. It is extremely grounding and comforting. It is wonderful in any anti inflammatory blend and is wonderful to soothe the skin.

Blue Cypress Essential Oil is a beautiful blue color and this is because of the sesquiterpene component guaiazulene.
Sesquiterpenol rich oils are generally safe oils and are not irritating to the skin. Not to be used if taking anticoagulant drugs, have a peptic ulcer or any bleeding issues due to the Beta-Eudesmol.Not to be used during pregnancy or breast feeding due to the antiangiogenic action.
